A bit of history

Medal created by Laura Cretara, known as the Lady of Coins. She is an Italian medallist and sculptor, and has been the director of the School of Medal Art since 1976. Laura Cretara is celebrating the centenary of the Bank of Italy and the United Europe (1993), the Third Millennium, and the Great Jubilee (2000).
