Collana Con Granati e Smalti del Periodo Impero Austro Ungarico

Importante e raro collier ottocentesco, in oro a titolo 750 (18 kt), con pendagli, elementi basculanti, granati e smalti di colore blu e bianco. L’oggetto è elegantemente impreziosito da incisioni floriformi eseguite a bulino. La collana di struttura è formata d micro elementi a canna vuota, in forma ottagonale ripiegata su se stessa. Chiusura  in oro e smalti, con elemento ad incastro e apertura a bottone, abbellita degli stessi colori del soggetto centrale.

Metodo di fabbricazione tipicamente medio ottocentesco detto “Pforz unt gumund” dal nome dei due ideatori tedeschi della pressa a vapore, macchinario capace di trasformare in sottili lastre l’oro ad uso gioielleria. An important and rare 19th-century necklace in 750 gold (18 kt), with pendants, swinging elements, garnets, and blue and white enamel. The piece is elegantly embellished with floral engravings executed with a burin. The necklace is composed of tiny hollow-tube elements, in an octagonal shape folded back on itself. The gold and enamel clasp, with a snap-on element and button opening, is embellished in the same colors as the central motif. A typically mid-19th-century manufacturing method known as “Pforz unt gumund,” named after the two German inventors of the steam press, a machine capable of transforming gold into thin sheets for jewelry use. All elements are contemporary.
