Spilla e Orecchini Antichi in Corallo “Abundantia”

Splendida demi parure della seconda metà dell’800, in oro giallo satinato in 18 kt e corallo di Sciacca. Creati dall’antica tradizione artigiana partenopea della famiglia Labriola, sia la spilla che gli orecchini, raffigurano la dea dell’abbondanza con simboli della terra che includono uva e foglie d’uva., che nella mitologia romana e associata a divinità come Cerere e figure legate al vino e alla vite come Bacco. La spilla appoggiata su una lastra in oro satinato, riserva spazio centrale alla testa della divinità, elaborata elegantemente. Lo stesso gli orecchini in forma ridotta hanno la testa della divinità con le foglie d’uva. Gli orecchini hanno la chiusura a perno pompeiano. In ottimo stato di conservazione questa demi parure, viene venduta con la sua scatola originale

A magnificent demi-parure from the second half of the 19th century, crafted from 18kt satin-finish yellow gold and Sciacca coral. Created by the Labriola family—upholders of the historic Neapolitan artisan tradition—both the brooch and the earrings depict the goddess of abundance alongside symbols of the earth, such as grapes and vine leaves; in Roman mythology, these elements are associated with deities like Ceres and figures linked to wine and the vine, such as Bacchus. The brooch features a central, elegantly detailed depiction of the goddess’s head set against a satin-finish gold plaque. The earrings mirror this design on a smaller scale, also featuring the goddess’s head adorned with vine leaves. They are fitted with “Pompeian” style post backings. This demi-parure is in excellent condition and comes with its original box.
