Orecchini Pendenti del Periodo Borbonico, Siciliani

Orecchini borbonici della seconda metà dell’800, in oro rosso e giallo in 12 kt di provenienza siciliana. Sono realizzati con la tecnica, come in uso all’epoca, della lavorazione della lamina a stampo e night and day, con la possibilità di togliere e rimettere il pendente, quando si vuole. Gli orecchini raffigurano elementi naturali come il fiore, la foglia del pendente e dei cerchi che creano ulteriore movimento. Hanno la chiusura nella parte anteriore del lobo.

Sicilian bourbon-era earrings from the second half of the 19th century, crafted in 12kt red and yellow gold. They feature the period-typical technique of stamped sheet-gold work and a “night and day” design, allowing the pendant to be detached and reattached at will. The earrings depict natural motifs—such as a flower and a leaf-shaped pendant—along with hoops that add a sense of movement. They fasten at the front of the earlobe.
